European & Africanized Honeybee Removal
If you have a colony of Africanized/European honey bees, don’t try to eliminate them yourself, call a professional. There are many similarities amongst the two types of bees, but it is impossible to tell the difference with the naked eye. A few similarities include appearance, type of venom, and pollination of flowers to produce honey and wax. They differ mostly in behavior. There are various methods to treat for rodents. Some methods are springtraps, glueboards, or catch alls (a trap to catch more than one rodent) to trap the rodents. Another method is using a pesticide bait to eliminate a large group of rodents. The bait is placed in a locked container to protect all non-target mammals. Rodent control requires a pro-active monthly service to monitor and maintain all traps or bait stations until the entire population is eliminated.
Pigeon Deterrent Services
There are three ways we can prevent pigeons from your property. They include using spikes on any perching areas (where they rest), netting off of any cooping areas (where they live) or using scare tactics (ex. owls, streamers or noise machines). Pigeons and their droppings can carry up to sixty diseases that can be spread to humans and pets. Therefore, we also clean and disinfect all of the surrounding areas with natural enzymes. Scorpion Treatment
There are a couple of ways to prevent scorpions. One way is with a monthly preventative maintenance service. We would treat with various pesticides to eliminate the problem which usually takes 90-120 days to eliminate the infestation. Another option is a scorpion exclusion treatment. The technicians will come out during the evening with black lights to survey the area for scorpions and trap them. The scorpions’ exoskeleton reacts to the black light causing it to glow in the dark allowing them to become more visible. With this option, the population is reduced drastically within the first day. With either service it is recommended to be pro-active with a monthly pest control service to prevent any future infestations.
Preventative Monthly Maintenance
The initial service is mainly used to flush out the activity. Depending on the type of activity though, it may take multiple treatments to eliminate the problem. Once the problem is eliminated the interior treatment is not necessary for the preventative monthly maintenance, since the exterior treatment will be preventing future infestations from getting inside. The various products break down in 30-60 days depending on product type, heat, wind, water and time. Full Exterior Treatment
On the outside of your property, we treat the entire perimeter of the building and property line (retaining wall) with the newest liquid products. We also granulate any areas that may get wet due to sprinklers, drip systems or even rain. The granules are activated with water and treat the soil. Our next step is to bait all dry rock areas with a multi-insect granular bait. And our last step is to examine the outside for any wasp or spider activity. Any activity that is discovered will be flushed out with pesticide and the nest or webbing will be removed. Always expect a 5-7 day flushing period after the property is treated.
Interior Treatment
On the inside of your property we treat all of the major points of entry which include kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and all door and window openings. We use the latest and most effective liquid sprays, baits and dust depending on the structure and type of activity.
